Writing Classes:

Our writing classes are geared to help the adult author sharpen their writing skills, which may have lain dormant for some time. Learning to write requires writing. Writing is a craft and as a craft writing can be worked and redefined. Many authors have unfortunately been out of the writing game for years. The most common mistakes we make in writing letters and emails are grammatical. We tend to write what we think without checking for grammatical errors or stopping to ensure we have a complete sentence. Our writing classes focus on the common errors of English usage, grammar and punctuation.

Examples of Courses Offered:

English Basics 101

Course Description:
This course will review basic writing skills: A detailed review of verbs, nouns, prepositional phrases, etc. We will review those common errors in writing and help develop basic sentence structure.

English Basics 102

Course Description:
This course will review the standard use of grammatical errors with common everyday words, and a detailed focus on the development of effective composing, revising, and editing strategies.
